Monstrous (2022) Korean Drama

Jung Ki Hoon, an archaeologist exploring supernatural phenomena, is changed by an unexpected case. He now runs Monthly Strange Story, a magazine and YouTube channel. His ex-wife, Lee Soo Jin, leads him to Jinyang County to investigate a “Gwibul” (a Buddhist statue possessed by an evil spirit), where they encounter terrifying events. Lee Soo Jin, a former archaeologist, seeks answers after her child’s death and experiences eerie occurrences in the county. The locals, including police chief Han Seok Hee, her son Han Do Kyung, governor Kwon Jong Soo, and troublemaker Kwak Yong Joo, also face bizarre phenomena.
