My First Client (2019) Korean Movie

Jung Yup, a lawyer from a small city, struggles to find a job in Seoul. He begins working at a child welfare center in his hometown, where he meets 10-year-old Da Bin, who reports abuse by her stepmother Ji Sook. Despite his awareness of the abuse, Jung Yup is powerless to intervene. As he accepts a job at a Seoul law firm, he leaves without saying goodbye. Later, he receives the devastating news that Da Bin has killed her younger brother, Min Joon.
